4.9.23 Sermon Afterthoughts
Greetings Church Family,
What a joy it was to gather with you this Resurrection Sunday and worship our crucified, risen, and reigning King! What a comfort to know that our Savior is seated on the throne of the universe and everything in the cosmos bows to His command. Each morning, as you awake, this is the reality in which you find yourself. Jesus, your faithful shepherd, rules it all! What He says, goes. What He promises, He fulfills. What He starts, He finishes. And what He ordains for your good never fails. Even this very moment as you read these words, they are not only true but they are true for you!
The resurrection of Christ changed everything for the disciples that day. That same resurrection changes everything for us as well. Below are questions for your consideration.
1. What trials in your life might be causing you to doubt the goodness of Christ?
2. What attributes of Jesus do you once again need to set your eyes upon?
3. Once the disciples saw Jesus, they ran to tell others. Whom has God placed in your life that you need to go and tell about Him?
